Original Stitch Pokemon Shirts Will Add Fans’ Favorite Poke Balls as Buttons
Many fans of the Pokemon franchise were likely delighted when The Pokemon Company and Original Stitch announced a partnership in March 2019 to produce Pokemon-themed dress shirts based on the original 151 monsters. That partnership has continued to this day, with patterns based on the Hoenn region getting added last month. Now more customization options are being planned, and fans can vote on which Poke Ball type they want to see included as buttons.
The Poke Ball is probably as iconic a symbol of Pokemon as its mascot Pikachu, with even most non-fans able to identify the red-and-white ball design. However, many more Poke Balls are available to trainers across different titles, from mainstays like Great, Ultra, and Master Balls to more rare offerings like the set of Apricorn balls from Pokemon Gold and Silver or the Beast Ball from Pokemon Sun and Moon.
A Twitter poll is currently being hosted that lasts until March 19, in which anyone can post one tweet with special Japanese hashtags to vote on up to 21 Poke Ball choices. The top three will be turned into buttons for Pokemon dress shirts when Original Stitch expands its customization options in May 2021, according to Dengeki Online.
While there is a colorful variety of Poke Ball options to choose from, including the stark white Premier Ball, the black-and-gold Luxury Ball, or the bisected Moon Ball, the early Poke Ball design from Pokemon Legends: Arceus is not included. Given this is a relatively new addition to the series, part of a Pokemon game set to release in 2022, perhaps it will be added to as an option in the future.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake Trophy List
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake has been through its fair share of trials and tribulations since its announcement last year. The game was initially met with backlash from long-time series fans – many of which criticized its visual style – before eventually being hit with an indefinite delay earlier this year, bumping the remake back from its March 18 release date.
It appears that hasn’t prevented some of the trophies meant to feature in the game from leaking online, with Exophase publishing the full list of accomplishments players can achieve in the title on its website. First spotted by Gematsu over on Twitter, the list appears to include plenty of new trophies for Sands of Time fanatics. The full list will be included below and will feature full SPOILERS for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake.
Earn Them All: Earn every trophy.
One Hard Decision: Defeat your father.
The Elevator: Survive the elevator fight.
The Big Fight: Kill the Vizier
There is Always Time for a Drink: Drink while in combat
Crowd Control: Stun 4 enemies at the same time
Sand the Fight Down: Defeat 15 enemies in a row without taking damage
No Respect: Drink while a frozen enemy is slowly falling down.
Full Circle: Activate the palace defense system
Prince of Light: Solve the Hall of Learning puzzle.
Good Time: Share a night of love with Farah.
Flying Circus: Vault over 2 different enemies while in slow-motion.
Scapegoat: Freeze the same enemy 5 times.
Hidden Doors: Find the secret level.
Megafreeze: Execute a megafreeze during combat
Sand Bearer: Obtain the Dagger of Time
Visionary: See your first vision.
Sword of Strength: Obtain the first sword.
Ultimate Sword: Obtain the final sword.
I might need those: Collect a sand cloud.
Water is life: Find a secret fountain.
It never happened…: Rewind first time.
… I swear: Rewind 25 times.
Smoldering gaze: Stare at Farah very closely.
The list looks to be a comprehensive but achievable lineup of trophies to collect. It’s already a huge improvement over the PlayStation 3 port of The Sands of Time, which stuck to the basics with its achievements and lacked much variety outside of collecting sand clouds and defeating bosses. As for what’s included, it appears players will be able to wrack up trophies as they make their way through the campaign, with the list rewarding them for completing the boss fight with the Prince’s father and defeating the game’s central antagonist, The Vizier.
On top of that, there are some fun new side-objectives that players will have to complete to unlock the coveted platinum trophy. These include having to defeat 15 enemies in a row without getting hit, vaulting over four foes at once, and managing to drink from a fountain while engaged in battle. It’ll definitely make for some additional challenge for experienced Sands of Time players as they make their way back through the remake’s campaign.
As of right now, it’s unclear exactly when The Sands of Time Remake will officially hit shelves, with Ubisoft not saying much about the title since its delay. As for why the game saw such a significant postponement, it seems the studio behind the project wanted more time to deliver the Prince of Persia comeback fans had anticipated, claiming they were actively listening to the community’s feedback. The game looks to be a significant reimagining of the iconic adventure, seeing the Prince and Farah return with state-of-the-art visuals and a suite of other modernizations.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is in development for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
